AlUla Arts Festival Returns 15 Jan 2027

AlUla Arts Festival will return for its 2027 edition, running from 15 January to 6 February 2027 across several sites in AlUla, following its largest edition to date. The festival will unfold at AlUla Oasis, AlJadidah Arts District, and other locations throughout the city.

The programme is set to feature contemporary-art exhibitions, large-scale installations, live performances, hands-on workshops, talks, design showcases, and community activities. Some activities will be free to attend, while ticket prices and booking details have not yet been announced.

The momentum builds on a standout 2026 edition, which welcomed more than 45,000 visitors. That edition presented 12 exhibitions and more than 120 works by over 70 artists representing 35 countries, underlining AlUla's growing position as a cultural destination.

Why it matters

For residents and visitors across Saudi Arabia, the festival offers an accessible way to experience international and local art in a striking desert setting, with a mix of free and ticketed programming suitable for families, art enthusiasts, and first-time visitors alike. Full ticketing and schedule information is expected to be shared ahead of the opening date, and planning a trip early is advisable given the festival's rising popularity.
