Company Setup Now Fully Online in Saudi Arabia

Entrepreneurs in Saudi Arabia can now complete company incorporation entirely online, including electronic authentication of the Articles of Association and instant issuance of the Commercial Registration, removing the need for a separate notary visit in most cases.

The process runs through the Saudi Business Center platform at business.sa. Applicants select the legal form, reserve or register the trade name, enter shareholder and capital details, prepare the electronic Articles of Association or bylaws, obtain electronic signatures, pay the invoice, and download the Commercial Registration. The listed service duration is immediate once all requirements and payment are complete.

Fees by company type

For a limited liability company, fees are SAR 1,200 for the Commercial Registration plus a SAR 500 publication fee, before 15% VAT. A standard LLC's listed total is SAR 1,700 before VAT, or SAR 1,955 including VAT. Joint-stock and simplified joint-stock companies pay SAR 1,600 plus the SAR 500 publication fee, while general and limited partnerships pay SAR 1,000 plus the SAR 500 publication fee, all before VAT.

Payment is made electronically through SADAD or by card after the system issues an invoice. Separately, establishment Commercial Registration fees are listed at SAR 200 for a main registration and SAR 100 for a branch; these figures may apply to establishment registrations rather than full company incorporation.
