The National Water Company has completed two sewer-network projects in Al-Baha city, with a total cost exceeding SAR 230 million. The projects were finished in October 2026 and are set to serve more than 34,000 beneficiaries.
the works included the installation of 7 kilometres of main sewer lines alongside 89 kilometres of sewer networks across several residential districts in the city.
The newly served areas are the districts of Al-Worood, Al-Maseif, Al-Nuzha North, and Al-Naseem South, extending modern sanitation coverage to thousands of homes.
Why it matters
Expanding sewer-network coverage strengthens public health and environmental standards while supporting long-term urban growth in Al-Baha. For residents in the covered districts, the upgraded infrastructure improves daily living conditions and reduces reliance on older or temporary drainage solutions.
The investment reflects ongoing efforts to raise the quality of essential utility services across the Kingdom's cities and bring reliable sanitation to a growing number of neighbourhoods.
