Construction of Aramco Stadium in Al-Khobar, in the Eastern Province, is progressing toward completion, with the venue scheduled to be finished in October 2026. The stadium is located within the Dammam Sports City area and is being prepared to host major international football events.
The venue is planned as one of the host stadiums for the 2027 AFC Asian Cup and is also included among the venues for the 2034 FIFA World Cup. Once complete, it is intended to become the primary home ground of Al-Qadsiah Club.
Published capacity figures currently differ across available listings. The stadium's project information lists a capacity of approximately 47,000 seats, while the Asian Cup tournament listing shows around 45,000 seats. A final confirmed figure is expected as the project nears completion.
What it means for the community
For football fans across the Eastern Province and beyond, the stadium adds a modern, large-capacity venue to the region's sporting infrastructure. Its role in two international tournaments positions Al-Khobar and Dammam as growing hubs for major sporting events in the years ahead.
No official ticket prices, stadium-tour fees, public opening hours, booking steps, or visitor-access procedures have been announced so far. Ordinary attendance does not involve any Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath, or Tawakkalna procedure. Event ticketing details are expected to be issued through the official tournament or venue channels closer to the events.
