A recall covering 1,355 Ford and Lincoln vehicles has been issued in Saudi Arabia over a defect in the front windshield-wiper arms, which may affect driver visibility and road safety.
The recall applies to several models produced between 2021 and 2023: the Ford Expedition, the Ford Super Duty F-250 through F-600, and the Lincoln Navigator. the front windshield-wiper arms may not have been attached properly.
The concern is that the wipers could malfunction or detach while the vehicle is in motion. In poor weather, this could sharply reduce the driver's visibility and raise the risk of an accident.
What owners should do
Owners are advised to verify whether their vehicle is affected by checking the vehicle identification number (VIN) through the Saudi defective-product recall center at Recalls.sa. If the vehicle is included, drivers should contact their local authorized dealer to arrange a repair.
The repair is carried out free of charge, and no fee or validity period applies to the service. For assistance, Ford owners can call the authorized-dealer hotline on 8007492222, while Lincoln owners can reach the authorized-dealer hotline on 8001240218.
Recalls like this are a routine part of vehicle-safety oversight in the Kingdom, and acting quickly helps keep both drivers and other road users safe.
