Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif inaugurated a new medical center and the Military Medical Committee Clinics at the Security Complex in eastern Riyadh on 20 October 2026. Both facilities operate under the Ministry of Interior Medical Services.

The new medical center offers a wide range of healthcare services, including emergency care, general medicine, physical therapy, rehabilitation, pharmacy, and diagnostic and therapeutic services. It is designed to support staff and beneficiaries connected to the security complex.

The Military Medical Committee Clinics, inaugurated at the same site, carry out medical examinations and assess the medical fitness of applicants seeking to join Saudi security sectors. Their services include radiology, laboratories, dentistry, and a number of specialist clinics.

Advanced medical excellence center

Earlier, on 14 October 2026, the Interior Minister inaugurated the Prince Nayef Center for Medical Excellence and Medical Innovation, part of the Medical Cities Operating Program under the Ministry of Interior Medical Services.

The center is equipped with advanced technology, including robotic spinal-surgery systems, the Da Vinci 5 robotic surgery platform, and a hybrid interventional-radiology suite. It also houses an artificial-intelligence laboratory, an automated pharmacy, intensive care, rehabilitation, and mental-health innovation facilities.

Together, the openings reflect ongoing efforts to expand modern, specialized healthcare services in the capital, strengthening both routine care and advanced treatment capabilities for the communities served by the Ministry of Interior Medical Services.
