Money20/20 Middle East 2026, one of the region's largest fintech gatherings, is set to run at the Riyadh Exhibition & Convention Center (RECC) in Malham, North Riyadh, from 14 to 16 September 2026, with daily sessions from roughly 09:00 to 18:00. The event is hosted by the Financial Sector Development Program, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), the Capital Market Authority and the Insurance Authority, and co-organised by Fintech Saudi and Tahaluf.
The 2026 edition expects around 38,000 attendees, more than 350 exhibiting brands, over 390 speakers, more than 600 investors and about 150 startups. Content is spread across six main stages — the Executive Summit, Next-Gen Money, The Bridge, The Capital, Off The Record and the Boardroom — covering themes from the future of payments and autonomous finance to trust and the next era of capital. A new programme, RiseUp, launches at the Riyadh edition to support women working in fintech and financial services across the region.
A landmark cross-border payments deal
On the second day, the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and Qatar Central Bank announced a landmark regional payments agreement enabling cross-border use of the national payment cards mada and HIMYAN across Saudi Arabia and Qatar. Cardholders in both countries will be able to use these domestic scheme cards seamlessly and securely when travelling between the two markets.
For residents and travellers, the move promises smoother, more familiar payments without relying solely on international networks — a practical benefit for anyone moving frequently between the Kingdom and Qatar.
Passes range from a free Expo Pass before the opening (US$50 / about SAR 190 from 14 September) to the Silver Plus Pass at US$900 (about SAR 3,375) and the Gold Plus Pass at US$3,250 (about SAR 12,190), with added benefits such as curated meetings, opening-ceremony seats and a Money Dinner invitation. Registration and passes are available online through the event's official registration portal.
