The Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources issued 50,030 certificates of origin in July 2026, supporting exporters and manufacturers across industrial, commercial and individual sectors in Riyadh and other regions of the Kingdom.
Certificates of origin are offered as a fully electronic service, allowing local exporters and manufacturers to issue and track their certificates online without visiting the ministry. The official channel is the ministry's e-portal, where beneficiaries log in, submit an application, enter shipment and product data, and follow the application status.
The service targets industrial establishments, commercial companies and institutions, and individuals such as farmers, fishermen, self-employed workers and local artisans. It offers four main certificate models: certificates for national products exported to GCC countries, certificates for national products exported to Arab countries, a preferential certificate under the unified GCC model for markets and blocs with free trade agreements, and a general certificate in Arabic and English for countries that do not grant preferential treatment.
How to apply
Applicants access the ministry's certificate of origin e-service page, log in with their exporter or manufacturer account, select the suitable certificate model, and fill in shipment and product details while declaring that goods are of Saudi national origin or have acquired Saudi origin status. They then attach supporting documents such as the commercial invoice and relevant export paperwork, submit electronically, and track the status online.
The certificates confirm that exported products are of Saudi national origin and help businesses access preferential or national treatment in import markets. For Riyadh-based exporters and manufacturers, certificates can also be issued through the Riyadh Chamber of Commerce Aamali portal, where users select "Certificates of Origin," enter shipment and product data, upload the required documents, and choose the certificate type.
