Three technology companies — HUMAIN, DataVolt, and Nebius — have signed a preliminary framework agreement to develop data-center capacity at Oxagon, نيوم's industrial city on Saudi Arabia's البحر الأحمر coast. The project is planned as a large artificial-intelligence campus, with capacity expected to come online in stages beginning in the fourth quarter of 2027.

Under the agreement, Nebius is set to be the anchor customer for up to 50 megawatts of capacity. That figure represents half of an initial 100 MW currently under construction, which itself forms part of a planned first phase of 360 MW for the AI campus.

The companies describe the agreement as preliminary, meaning the arrangement is still at the framework stage. No final pricing or confirmed operational date has been made public at this point.

Why it matters

Large-scale AI infrastructure of this kind supports the growing demand for computing power behind modern digital services, from cloud platforms to advanced analytics. Siting such a campus at Oxagon reinforces نيوم's role as a hub for industry and technology on the Kingdom's western coast, and aligns with wider national efforts to expand the digital economy under رؤية السعودية 2030.

This is a commercial infrastructure project rather than a public service. No fees in ريال سعودي, customer application process, visa requirements, government-service procedure, validity period, or public booking channel has been announced in connection with it.
