Akasa Air has extended the suspension of its flights to and from Jeddah, with the pause now set to remain in effect through November 10, 2026, inclusive. The move affects travelers who had planned to fly on the airline's Jeddah routes during this period.

Passengers holding affected bookings have been given two options. They can request a full refund to the original payment method, which will be processed within seven days, or they can choose to reschedule their travel free of charge.

Travelers who booked directly with the airline can arrange their refund or rescheduling through the carrier's own channels. Those who purchased their tickets through travel agents or other partners have been advised to contact the relevant agent or partner directly for assistance.

The extended suspension is likely to affect residents and expats in Jeddah who rely on direct connections for travel and family visits. Passengers with upcoming trips are encouraged to review their bookings early and confirm their preferred option, whether a refund or a new travel date, to avoid last-minute disruption.
