A new real estate developer, Arada, has launched its operations in Saudi Arabia through a partnership with local property investor Xtopia, backing the move with a planned land portfolio valued at about SAR 50 billion.
The newly formed platform, Arada Saudi Arabia, has access to roughly 10 million square metres of land spread across Riyadh, Jeddah, and Makkah. The scale of the portfolio signals a significant long-term commitment to the Kingdom's fast-growing housing market.
The developer's first Saudi project is planned for the Al Rimal district in northeast Riyadh. The masterplan spans approximately 2.5 million square metres and is set to include around 3,500 villas and townhouses.
Beyond housing, the community is planned to offer retail, education, leisure, community, and sports facilities, along with the planting of roughly 100,000 trees. Construction and sales for the first project are scheduled to begin in 2027.
Why it matters
For residents and families in Riyadh, the arrival of a major new developer points to more housing choices and amenity-rich communities in the years ahead, in line with the Kingdom's broader growth plans. For now, the plans remain at an early stage, and no official customer prices, reservation fees, or payment plans have been published. Saudi Living will share verified details on pricing and sales once they are officially announced.
