The medical city recorded a total of 1,611,248 services. Laboratory work made up the largest share at 975,109 services, followed by 216,091 pharmaceutical services. Outpatient clinics received 179,891 visits, while the emergency department handled 127,470 cases.

Radiology services reached 89,314, and the medical city carried out 4,574 surgical procedures over the quarter. It also registered 2,254 births and delivered 16,545 rehabilitation services.

Why it matters

The figures highlight the scale of care available to residents and visitors in Madinah, from routine clinic appointments and lab tests to emergency response and surgery. For families in the region, the numbers point to a broad range of services under one facility, covering diagnostics, pharmacy, maternity, and rehabilitation.

The strong volume of outpatient visits and emergency cases underscores the role the medical city plays in day-to-day community healthcare, while the combined laboratory and radiology activity reflects the diagnostic support behind those services.
