A new medical center and Military Medical Committee clinics opened at the security complex in eastern Riyadh in October 2026, expanding health services for staff and job applicants in the Kingdom's security sector.

The medical center offers a range of services under one roof, including emergency care, general medicine, physical therapy and rehabilitation, and pharmacy services. The setup is designed to make routine and urgent care more accessible without the need to travel to separate facilities.

Alongside the center, the Military Medical Committee clinics carry out medical examinations and fitness assessments for people applying to security-sector jobs in Saudi Arabia. These assessments are a standard step in confirming that applicants meet the health requirements for their roles.

Why it matters

Bringing emergency care, rehabilitation and applicant assessments together in one complex helps streamline access for employees and candidates. It also reflects the ongoing growth of health infrastructure across Riyadh, where residents increasingly expect care close to where they work and live.

For Saudi citizens, government medical care is provided free of charge. The national 937 health line is also free and operates around the clock, offering medical advice and guidance at any time of day.
