A major new residential development is being planned for the Al Rimal District in northeastern Riyadh, with an estimated value of around SAR 14 billion. The project, named Al Rimal, will be built on a site of approximately 2.5 million square metres, with access provided via Janadriyah Road.
the development will feature around 3,500 villas and townhouses, alongside extensive green spaces that include an estimated 100,000 trees. The community will also offer a school, retail outlets, a community centre, and sports facilities, aiming to create a self-contained neighbourhood for residents.
Indicative unit pricing has been set at roughly SAR 1,000 to 1,400 though no official unit-by-unit prices, reservation fees, payment plans, or handover dates have been confirmed. Construction and sales are scheduled to begin in 2027, with the build expected to take around five years to complete.
Why it matters
The project adds to Riyadh's rapidly expanding supply of new housing as the capital continues to grow. For residents and families considering future home ownership, Al Rimal offers a planned, amenity-rich community in a developing part of the city.
The investment structure is planned to be regulated by the Capital Market Authority and managed by a licensed financial company. Based on the information released so far, no current Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath, Tawakkalna, or ministry transaction is required to purchase a unit. سعودي ليفنج will share further details, including confirmed pricing and reservation procedures, once they are officially announced.
