The General Entertainment Authority has been selected among Saudi Arabia's top 70 brands for social responsibility and sustainability in 2026, in recognition of a range of community initiatives carried out over the past five years.

The recognition highlighted efforts to make entertainment more inclusive. The Authority created employment opportunities and dedicated talent spaces for people with disabilities during entertainment seasons and events, giving them a visible role in the Kingdom's growing entertainment scene.

Other initiatives focused on inclusion and care. Senior citizens were granted free admission to selected entertainment events through partnerships with توكلنا, while special programs were offered to children of fallen service members, orphans, and residents of social care homes.

Community impact

Among the most notable efforts was the "Laylat Al-Omar" mass-wedding initiative, held in 2025 and 2026, which supported 1,600 Saudi couples. The Authority also worked to reduce food waste by collecting surplus food from restaurants participating in its events in cooperation with the Saudi Food Bank.

These initiatives reflect a broader push to ensure that entertainment benefits all segments of society, from families and young talent to vulnerable groups. For residents and visitors across the Kingdom, the recognition signals that community welfare is becoming a central part of the growing entertainment sector.
