Etihad Airways has canceled all flights connecting Abu Dhabi with Saudi Arabia's three major cities — Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam — through Saturday, October 24, 2026, due to regional disruption. The move affects travelers in both directions on several routes.

all services between Abu Dhabi and Riyadh, as well as all services between Abu Dhabi and Dammam, have been suspended through the stated date. On the Jeddah route, the canceled Abu Dhabi–Jeddah flights were EY601 and EY603, while the canceled Jeddah–Abu Dhabi flights were EY602 and EY604.

The airline has noted that the situation remains subject to further schedule changes, meaning additional cancellations or adjustments could follow depending on how conditions develop.

What travelers should do

Passengers holding affected bookings are advised to check their flight status before heading to the airport and to contact Etihad directly for rebooking or to arrange alternative travel options. With schedules changing, confirming the latest status ahead of departure is the safest step.

For the many residents and expats in the Kingdom who travel frequently between the Gulf hubs for work, family, or connections onward, the disruption is a reminder to build flexibility into travel plans and allow extra time for rebooking during this period.
