The Saudi Tourism Authority has launched a new global destination campaign for 2026 titled "Saudi: One Destination, Endless Ways to Explore," placing Jeddah among its featured destinations for travelers across the Middle East and North Africa.

Developed in partnership with travel platform Wego, the campaign promotes the Kingdom's destinations, culture, heritage, natural landscapes, entertainment offerings, and its year-round calendar of events. It aims to showcase the variety of experiences available to visitors throughout the country.

Jeddah's inclusion comes as the city prepares to host Gulf Cup 27, scheduled from 23 September to 6 October 2026. The regional football tournament is expected to draw fans and visitors from across the Gulf, adding to the city's growing profile as a destination for sports, culture, and tourism.

Why it matters

For residents and expats in Jeddah and beyond, the campaign signals a busy period ahead, with increased activity, events, and travel interest expected around the tournament dates. The push also reflects wider efforts to position the Kingdom as a year-round destination for both international and regional travelers.

At this stage, confirmed ticket prices, venue details, operating hours, visa procedures, and official booking channels for the campaign or the Jeddah events have not been announced. Saudi Living will share further details as they become available.
