Saudi Arabia has designated KSA Visa, operated under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, as the official national platform for issuing and managing all visa types. The Cabinet decision makes the platform the single unified front-end for visa services across the Kingdom.
The platform covers a wide range of categories, including Hajj visas, Umrah visit visas, tourist visas, business and business-visit visas, work (employment) visas, and family and personal visit visas for citizens and residents. It also handles return-visa extensions and visa authorization services, including Musaned work visas and data authentication.
KSA Visa connects with more than 30 government and private entities to verify applicant data and process requests. Users can access the web portal through نفاذ (National Single Sign-On) for citizens and residents, or through a dedicated KSA Visa account for external visitors. The platform is integrated within the GOV.SA digital government ecosystem and supports personal profiles that store data to simplify future applications, renewals, and reviews.
Why it matters
The platform offers a smart search engine that helps each applicant identify the visa types available to their profile, along with centralized guidance on conditions, required documents, and procedures. Artificial intelligence and other technologies are used to verify data and speed up processing.
KSA Visa serves as the visa layer under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Other national platforms such as أبشر, مقيم, قوى, ناجز, and توكلنا continue to serve their own domains covering residency, labor, justice, and pass status, while visa issuance and management is centralized on KSA Visa. Authorities have not announced a full timeline for replacing all legacy channels, nor released standardized processing times or consolidated fee tables for every visa category.
