The Saudi Esports Federation, through the Saudi Esports Academy, has launched a new practical training programme called Level Up in cooperation with Vanguard, giving academy graduates hands-on experience in the fast-growing gaming industry. The programme began in September 2026.
Aimed at graduates of the Saudi Esports Academy, Level Up places participants directly into live operational work for the PRIME eLeague. Rather than classroom study alone, trainees contribute to real tournaments and gain first-hand exposure to how professional competitions are run.
The programme offers two tracks: Operations Management and Refereeing. Training covers tournament operations, match administration, rules and regulations, operational coordination, reporting, and professional communication — core skills for anyone seeking a career behind the scenes of competitive gaming.
How the programme works
Each cohort runs for two weeks. During that period, every participant receives an individual professional evaluation along with development feedback designed to sharpen their skills. Those who complete the programme successfully are awarded a joint completion certificate issued by the Saudi Esports Academy and Vanguard.
For the community, Level Up reflects the Kingdom's steady investment in building local talent for the esports sector. By pairing graduates with real operational responsibilities, the programme helps young Saudis move from training into practical, industry-ready roles — supporting the growth of a professional ecosystem around competitive gaming in Saudi Arabia.
