King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh is scheduled to resume domestic and international flights on 25 October 2026, following a temporary closure that began after attacks on 10 October 2026.

Terminal 1 will handle domestic flights, while Terminal 2 will serve international flights operated by Saudi national carriers. The arrangement aims to organize the return of operations and ease the flow of travellers through the airport.

Officials noted that flight schedules remain subject to confirmation by the operating airlines and may change based on operational requirements. Passengers are therefore advised to check the status of their flights before heading to the airport.

What passengers should do

Travellers are urged to verify their bookings directly with the operating airline before travelling, including departure times and terminal details. Confirming a flight in advance can help avoid delays and ensure a smoother experience as operations gradually return to normal.

The resumption is an important step for residents and expats in Riyadh who rely on the airport for domestic connections across the Kingdom and international travel. Saudi Living will continue to share updates as more information becomes available.
