Saudi football fans headed into round 12 of the Roshn Saudi League with the title race still wide open, as only two points separated the top three clubs. Al-Hilal held first place with 27 points, with Al-Nassr and Al-Qadsiah tied just behind on 25 points each.

The 2026–27 season features 18 teams competing across 34 rounds and 306 matches, running from 13 August 2026 to 29 May 2027. At this stage of the campaign, the upper half of the table remained compact and unpredictable.

Al-Ittihad sat fourth with 23 points, followed by Al-Ahli in fifth on 21. Neom were sixth with 19 points, ahead of Al-Ettifaq on 18 and Al-Diriyah on 15. The mid-table cluster was especially crowded, with Al-Kholood, Al-Khaleej, and Al-Riyadh all level on 12 points, while Al-Shabab had 11, and Al-Hazem and Al-Faisaly shared 10 points apiece.

At the bottom, Al-Fayha had 8 points, Al-Fateh 6, Al-Taawoun 4, and Abha 2, leaving the relegation picture far from settled.

Adding to the suspense, several teams entered round 12 with matches in hand, meaning the standings did not yet reflect the full state of the competition. For residents and football followers across the Kingdom, the tight margins promise an intense stretch of fixtures, with every point carrying weight in both the title and survival battles as the long season unfolds.
