Saudi authorities have announced the recall of 94 Honda CMX500 motorcycles from model years 2023 through 2025 due to a safety defect affecting the gear-shift system.
the mounting bolt of the gear-shift lever may detach during use. If this happens, the rider could lose the ability to change gears properly, raising the risk of losing control of the motorcycle.
Owners can verify whether their vehicle is affected by checking the motorcycle's VIN (vehicle identification number) through the Recalls.sa platform. Those whose motorcycles are included in the recall are advised to contact Abdullah Hashim Company Ltd. on 8001199988 to arrange the necessary repair.
The required repair will be carried out free of charge. For additional customer support or authorized-service assistance, Honda Saudi Arabia can be reached on 920002208.
Recalls such as this are a routine part of consumer-safety procedures and are intended to address potential faults before they lead to accidents. Owners of the affected models are encouraged to act promptly and have the issue resolved at an authorized service center to ensure their motorcycle remains safe to ride.
