Saudi Awwal Bank has reported a net profit after zakat and income tax of SAR 6,582 million for the first nine months of 2026, ended 30 September, marking a 3% increase compared with SAR 6,405 million in the same period a year earlier.

Total operating income for the nine-month period reached SAR 11,116 million, up 1% year-on-year, reflecting steady performance across the bank's core activities.

The results also showed momentum in the third quarter, with revenue reaching SAR 3,841 million, a 5% rise compared with the preceding quarter.

The figures point to continued stability in the Kingdom's banking sector, which remains a key pillar supporting economic activity and financing for individuals and businesses alike. For residents and expats across Riyadh, Jeddah and other cities, healthy bank earnings typically signal a solid base for lending, savings products and everyday financial services.

As one of the Kingdom's major lenders, the bank's performance is closely watched as an indicator of broader financial-sector health amid ongoing economic diversification.
