A Saudi-Chinese joint venture has secured a SAR 1.15 billion contract — roughly USD 306 million — to deliver the façade systems for Prince Mohammed bin Salman Stadium in القدية (Qiddiya City), located outside الرياض. The agreement marks another major milestone in one of the Kingdom's flagship sports and entertainment developments.
The winning consortium, IKK Fangda JV Co., brings together China Fangda Group's Shihui International Holdings, which owns 51%, and Saudi Arabia's Isam Kabbani & Partners, part of IKK Group, which holds the remaining 49%. The contract was awarded by Uptown Stadium Construction JV, a partnership formed by Spain's FCC Construcción and Saudi Arabia's Nesma & Partners.
Under the deal, the consortium will handle the design, supply, and installation of curtain-wall façade systems for the main stadium, the museum, and ancillary buildings. The stated execution period is 863 days.
Why it matters
The stadium forms part of القدية, the large-scale leisure and sports destination being built outside الرياض, and is intended to support Saudi Arabia's plans to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup. For residents, the project signals continued momentum in the Kingdom's push to expand world-class sporting venues and entertainment options.
As the stadium remains under construction, there are no public visitor ticket prices, opening hours, or operating schedules available at this stage. The contract is a private construction agreement, so no government application, permit, visa, or service fee applies to it.
