Fifty Saudi companies have begun a two-month Export Business Accelerator designed to prepare them for international markets, running from 18 October to 17 December 2026. The programme is supported by Saudi EXIM and brings together participating enterprises from across the Kingdom.

The accelerator offers a package of services that includes specialised consultations, training, networking opportunities, and practical guidance on entering foreign markets. Participants move through a structured path that starts with an export-readiness assessment, followed by an actionable export plan, individual consultations, and introductions to organisations that support exporters.

A key goal of the programme is to prepare the participating companies to make use of Saudi EXIM financing and export-insurance solutions, helping them manage the risks and costs that often come with selling abroad for the first time.

Why it matters

Supporting local businesses to reach customers outside the Kingdom is a priority for Saudi Arabia's economy, and programmes like this one aim to give smaller and growing firms the tools they need to compete internationally. By combining advice, training and access to financing, the accelerator seeks to turn export ambitions into concrete plans.

For the wider business community, the initiative signals continued momentum behind non-oil exports and the diversification of the Saudi economy. Companies that build export capabilities today can open new revenue streams and strengthen their resilience in the years ahead.
