Fifty Saudi establishments have begun a two-month Export Business Accelerator aimed at helping local companies prepare for international markets. The program launched by the Saudi Export-Import Bank runs from 18 October to 17 December 2026.
The accelerator is designed to build the export capabilities of participating firms through a structured set of services. These include an export-readiness assessment, specialized training, individual mentoring, and support in developing a practical export plan.
Participants also receive guidance on accessing new markets and connections with entities that support exporters. The goal is to give Saudi companies the tools and knowledge needed to compete and grow beyond the domestic market.
It is important to note that joining the program does not automatically provide financing or insurance. Participation focuses on capacity-building and planning rather than direct funding.
Separately, related export incentives can partially cover eligible costs tied to international expansion, subject to the conditions attached to each incentive. For many small and medium-sized businesses across the Kingdom, initiatives like this one are a practical step toward diversifying revenue and strengthening the non-oil economy.
