A six-month national program to develop Saudi game-development talent launched in Riyadh in October 2026. Saudi Game Champions 3 is run by the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE) at the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in partnership with the National Technology Development Program.
The program is aimed at Saudi developers, designers, entrepreneurs, and others interested in building games. Participants receive specialized mentorship, hands-on development support, and practical training, working in teams to create playable game prototypes and potential projects.
What participants can expect
Over the six months, the program includes a three-day Game Jam held in Riyadh, giving teams an intensive setting to design and build games together. The focus is on practical, in-person learning that helps participants turn ideas into working prototypes.
Reported eligibility includes Saudi nationality, being 18 years or older, basic knowledge of programming, art, or game design, English proficiency, and in-person attendance. Registration is handled through the official CODE program registration channel.
The initiative supports the growing games and digital-content sector in the Kingdom, opening a clear path for young Saudis to gain industry skills and build teams around original projects. For those interested, applicants are encouraged to review the eligibility requirements and complete registration through the official CODE channel.
