Six Saudi banks reported combined third-quarter net profits of SAR 19.83 billion, an annual increase of 5.3%, in results that underline the continued strength of the Kingdom's banking sector. The lenders were Al Rajhi Bank, Bank Aljazira, Riyad Bank, Arab National Bank, Saudi National Bank, and Alinma Bank.

The figures come alongside a new Guide to Financial Institutions Services Fees, which replaced the previous Banking Tariff on 20 February 2026. The updated guide sets out clear, standardised charges for the everyday services that residents and expats rely on.

What stays free

Opening a current account or an electronic wallet remains free, as do cash withdrawals and deposits at ATMs or branches and cheque deposits. Mada card issuance and renewal are also free, along with electronic monthly statements, same-bank branch transfers, and point-of-sale card use on the GCCNet network.

Fees to know

Reissuing a Mada card after loss, damage, or three incorrect PIN attempts costs SAR 10, excluding VAT where applicable. Branch account statements range from SAR 25 for periods under one year, to SAR 30 for one to five years, and SAR 50 beyond five years.

For transfers, a same-day SARIE transfer to another Saudi bank at a branch is SAR 25, a forward SARIE transfer is SAR 15, and a one-time standing payment order is SAR 15. International bank transfers cost SAR 75, with SAR 25 to change or cancel. GCCNet cash withdrawals are SAR 10 and balance inquiries SAR 3. International-network debit-card withdrawals cost SAR 25, while credit-card cash withdrawals are SAR 75 for amounts up to SAR 5,000 and 3% (capped at SAR 300) above that.

For customers in Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam and across the Kingdom, the standardised list makes it easier to plan everyday banking and avoid surprise charges.
