Standard Arabia Inspection has been named Training Centre of the Year at the 2026 International Awards for Powered Access (IAPAs), in recognition of its work in powered-access safety training. The company's training facility is based in Al Dana District, Jubail Balad, in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia.
It is worth clarifying that some reports have mislabeled this honour as an award from an international public transport association. The correct recognition is the IPAF Training Centre of the Year accolade, awarded within the IAPAs program.
The win follows recognition for the center's growth in operator certification, its powered-access training standards, and a major Saudi initiative focused on raising safety awareness around Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). These platforms are widely used across construction, industrial, and maintenance sites throughout the Kingdom.
Why it matters
Powered-access equipment is a common sight on major Saudi projects, and proper operator training is central to reducing workplace risk. Recognition for a training center based in Jubail highlights the growing capacity for internationally recognized safety certification inside the Kingdom.
For workers, contractors, and companies across the Eastern Province and beyond, access to certified local training can reduce reliance on overseas programs and support safer job sites as industrial activity continues to expand.
