Three major parks in Riyadh’s eastern districts—Al-Munsiyah, Al-Rimal, and Al-Qadisiyah—have exceeded 85% completion under the Green Riyadh program, bringing a large new network of public green space closer to residents in the capital’s east.

Together the parks span more than 550,000 square meters. Construction began in 2024, and the projects include more than 585,000 trees and shrubs, a significant boost to shade and greenery across the three neighborhoods.

Once finished, the parks will offer sports courts, fitness areas, water-play facilities, cycling paths, skating tracks, and children’s play areas. Planned networks include 18 kilometers of walking trails, 8 kilometers of running tracks, and 8.5 kilometers of cycling paths, giving families a wide range of outdoor and recreational options.

The three parks are linked to Wadi Al-Sulay and the Sports Boulevard through shaded pedestrian paths, connecting them to the wider web of green corridors taking shape across Riyadh.

The additions are part of a broader effort to expand green space, improve air quality, and provide walkable, family-friendly destinations in the capital’s eastern districts. No public entrance fee, opening schedule, or individual park opening date has been announced so far.
