Riyadh is set to host the 25th World Petroleum Congress — now branded the 25th WPC Energy Congress — from 11 to 15 October 2026, bringing together major global energy companies in the Saudi capital. The event will take place at the Riyadh Front Exhibition & Conference Center on King Khalid International Airport Road.

The congress was rescheduled from its earlier planned dates of 26 to 30 April 2026 to the new October slot. Organisers confirm that visitor registration is free and grants access to the exhibition, the technical and special programmes, and the Synergy Pavilion.

For those seeking full participation, the standard delegate fee is USD 3,150 for registrations completed by 11 September 2026, rising to USD 3,450 through the duration of the congress. A reduced sponsor or exhibitor delegate rate of USD 2,500 is available, while accompanying-person registration costs USD 500 including VAT.

Why it matters

As one of the world's leading gatherings for the energy sector, the congress underscores Riyadh's growing role as a hub for international business events. For residents and professionals across the Kingdom, it offers an opportunity to explore the exhibition and programmes at no cost, and to connect with companies shaping the global energy landscape.

With more than a year ahead of the opening date, attendees and businesses have ample time to plan their participation and secure early delegate rates before the September 2026 deadline.
