Al Hilal kicked off the 2025–26 Saudi Pro League season with a confident 2–0 win over Al Riyadh at Kingdom Arena in Riyadh on Friday, August 29, 2025.
The home side took the lead in the 22nd minute through Mutab Al-Harbi, before Malcom doubled the advantage with a strike in first-half stoppage time. The two goals were enough to seal all three points and hand Al Hilal a positive start to the campaign.
With both goals arriving before the break, Al Hilal controlled much of the contest, while Al Riyadh were unable to find a response in the second half.
