Al-Ittihad beat Al-Diriyah 2–0 in Jeddah

Al-Ittihad secured a 2–0 home victory over Al-Diriyah on 23 October 2026 at Alinma Stadium in King Abdullah Sports City, Jeddah, before a crowd of 11,176 spectators.

The hosts took the lead in the 30th minute through George Ilenikhena, who finished off a well-worked move to put Al-Ittihad ahead at the break.

Georginio Wijnaldum sealed the result in the 77th minute, converting from the penalty spot to double the advantage and put the game beyond reach for the visitors.

The clean sheet and comfortable margin will be welcomed by Al-Ittihad's supporters, while the attendance of more than eleven thousand reflects the steady appetite for top-flight football in Jeddah.

Matches at Alinma Stadium continue to draw families and fans across the city, part of the broader growth in Saudi sport that offers residents and expats regular, accessible live entertainment close to home.
