Al Ittihad secured a comfortable 2–0 win over Al Diriyah in the Saudi Pro League on 23 October 2026, with the match staged at Alinma Bank Stadium inside King Abdullah Sports City in جدة.
The home side took the lead in the 30th minute when George Ilenikhena found the back of the net. Al Ittihad doubled their advantage in the 77th minute after Georginio Wijnaldum converted a penalty to put the result beyond doubt.
The clean-sheet victory reflected a controlled performance from Al Ittihad, who managed the game across both halves and capitalised on their chances to take all three points in front of their home crowd.
For football fans across the Kingdom, the fixture is part of an increasingly competitive Saudi Pro League season that continues to draw large audiences to stadiums in جدة, الرياض, and beyond. Matches at King Abdullah Sports City remain a popular weekend draw for residents and expats alike.
