Al-Nassr Beat Neftchi 3-1 in AFC Champions League Elite

Al-Nassr opened its account in the AFC Champions League Elite 2026/27 league stage with a 3–1 home win over Neftchi Fergana in Riyadh on 12 October 2026, securing its first points of the campaign.

The hosts took control in the first half. Ângelo Gabriel put Al-Nassr ahead in the 33rd minute, and Cristiano Ronaldo doubled the lead in the 42nd minute to send the team into the break with a comfortable advantage.

Neftchi responded early in the second half when Alisher Odilov pulled one back in the 51st minute, briefly narrowing the gap and lifting the visitors' hopes. The margin was restored in the 78th minute, however, when an own goal by Anvarjon G‘ofurov made it 3–1 and sealed the result for Al-Nassr.

The victory is an important early boost for Al-Nassr, giving the side momentum as the continental campaign gathers pace. For football fans across Riyadh and the wider Kingdom, it offers another chance to follow local clubs competing on Asia's top stage, with more fixtures in the league phase still to come.
