The Saudi Arabian Sport Culture Federation has announced the formation of a new Board of Directors for the 2025–2028 term, bringing fresh leadership to oversee its activities across the Kingdom.
The new board is chaired by Professor Dr. Suleiman bin Omar Al-Jaloud. The formation was approved by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki Al-Faisal, President of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee.
The federation said the new board will work to strengthen sports culture in the community and support sustainable health development, in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
Why it matters
Promoting sports culture plays a growing role in encouraging healthier lifestyles among residents and expats alike. Efforts led by bodies such as the Sport Culture Federation aim to raise public awareness of the value of physical activity and its benefits for overall wellbeing.
The appointment of the new board is part of the ongoing development of the Kingdom's sports sector, which has seen steady expansion in programs, events, and community initiatives in recent years.
