Sports for All & KAU Partner to Boost Campus Fitness

The Saudi Sports for All Federation and King Abdulaziz University have signed a memorandum of understanding to expand physical activity and community sports across the university campus in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The agreement aims to reach students as well as the wider university community.

Under the partnership, the two sides plan to roll out a range of activities, including sports events, participation drives, running races, motivational programs, and initiatives tailored to students. The initial goal is to engage at least 500 people each year in sports programs and events.

King Abdulaziz University will provide access to its sports facilities and halls, along with logistical support, equipment, and organizational assistance. For its part, the federation will oversee the quality and operational standards of the programs organized jointly.

Why it matters

The collaboration gives students and staff more regular, structured opportunities to stay active on campus, supporting healthier daily habits and a stronger culture of community sport. By combining the university's facilities with the federation's expertise, the two sides aim to make participation easier and more consistent for a large group each year.

No participation charges, registration steps, timelines, or venue schedules were announced. Saudi Living will share further details on specific events and how to take part once they become available.
