Sports for All Partners with KAU to Boost Activity

The Saudi Sports for All Federation has signed a partnership with King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah aimed at encouraging physical activity among students and building a more active campus community.

Under the agreement, the two sides will organize a range of programs including sporting events, participation initiatives, running races, and motivational activities designed specifically to engage students. The university will support the effort by providing its sports facilities, halls, equipment access, and logistical assistance.

The initiative sets an initial target of involving at least 500 participants annually, reflecting a broader push to make regular exercise part of daily student life.

Why it matters

University campuses reach large numbers of young people, making them a natural setting for health and wellness programs. By pairing federation expertise with the university's facilities, the partnership gives students accessible opportunities to join organized sport without added barriers.

The effort sits alongside other national physical-activity programs currently listed by the federation, including 10B Steps and the Riyadh Marathon 2026, which together encourage residents across the Kingdom to move more throughout the year.
