The Saudi Sports for All Federation has launched a nationwide walking initiative called 10 Billion Steps, inviting community members across the Kingdom to help reach a shared target of 10 billion cumulative steps. The initiative runs from July through December 2026 and is open to residents and citizens everywhere in Saudi Arabia.

Participation takes place entirely through the Sports for All Federation mobile app. Users simply register in the app, activate step tracking, and monitor their progress over time. The app also offers related challenges and activities designed to keep participants motivated throughout the six-month period.

There is no participation fee, and no additional government procedures are required to take part. Registration and tracking are handled directly within the federation's app and its official platforms, making it easy for anyone to get involved.

Why it matters

The initiative encourages a more active daily routine and gives individuals a simple, measurable way to contribute to a collective national goal. By turning everyday walking into a shared target, it aims to make physical activity a regular habit for families and individuals across the community.

Participation remains available throughout the initiative period, which concludes in December 2026. Those interested can download the Sports for All Federation app, create an account, and begin counting their steps toward the 10 billion milestone.
