Princess Reema Joins Women's Sports Network as Adviser

Princess Reema Bandar Al Saud, Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the United States, has joined the All Women's Sports Network (AWSN) as an adviser, in an appointment announced on 6 October 2026.

In her advisory role, Princess Reema will support the network's efforts to expand its coverage of women's sports across the Middle East and internationally, helping bring greater visibility to female athletes and competitions in the region.

The appointment reflects the growing prominence of women's sports in Saudi Arabia, where participation in athletics and the audience for women's competitions have expanded in recent years. Greater regional coverage can offer local athletes wider exposure and encourage more residents to follow and take part in sports.

The advisory position is a professional role with the network and is not linked to any Saudi government service, fee, application process, or official channel. For the community, the development signals continued momentum behind women's sports in the Kingdom and a stronger spotlight on female athletes at home and abroad.
