The opening round of the Saudi Toyota Championship Time Attack 2026 concluded at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, running from 27 to 29 August 2026 and drawing dozens of male and female drivers across a packed weekend of racing.
In the Time Attack format, drivers compete individually against the clock rather than wheel-to-wheel. The round used the 3.4-kilometre layout with 13 turns, with each driver given two competitive runs and the faster time deciding the result in each category. The event featured 11 categories plus a Ladies Cup, with official figures citing 88 male and female competitors.
Mamoun Amr Alkabbani claimed the fastest overall time with a lap of 1:12.279, edging out Faisal Sufyan Alkabbani on 1:12.300, while Mohammed Abu Dawood took third overall with 1:16.166. In the Ladies Cup, Reem Al-Aboud finished on top with a best time of 1:29.579, ahead of Yasmeen Al-Sayed and Enas Abtini.
Racing followed a two-race schedule, with the first race at 16:00 and the second at 19:45, and the evening closing around midnight after the awards ceremony.
The season is made up of three rounds, all staged at Jeddah Corniche Circuit. The second round is scheduled for 3-4 September 2026 with 88 competitors across the same categories, while the final round takes place on 15-16 October 2026. The championship offers a growing platform for local motorsport talent, including women drivers, and adds to the calendar of racing events on Saudi Arabia's coast.
