The second round of the 2026 Saudi Toyota Drift and Autocross Championships took place in Al-Ahsa Governorate on October 23 and 24, 2026, bringing together drivers from across the Kingdom at Prince Abdullah bin Jalawi Stadium Square. The two-day event ran from 12:00 to 20:00 on both Friday and Saturday.

The drift competition featured 59 competitors spread across professional, semi-professional, and amateur categories. The programme began with amateur and semi-professional qualifying runs, followed by professional tandem battles, before wrapping up with the awards ceremony.

The autocross competition also drew 59 drivers, competing across 11 categories that included a dedicated women's cup. The schedule covered a driver briefing, practice session, two timed runs, and a closing awards ceremony.

Why it matters

Motorsport continues to grow as a popular pastime and spectator draw in Saudi Arabia, with grassroots and semi-professional events giving local drivers a structured path to compete. The inclusion of a women's cup in the autocross line-up reflects the widening participation across the sport in the Kingdom.

Held in Al-Ahsa, the round also spotlighted the Eastern region as a venue for national motorsport events, offering families and fans a free-to-watch weekend of racing action close to home.
