CMA Approves SNB Capital-PNU Waqf Fund Offering

The Capital Market Authority has approved the public offering of units in the SNB Capital–Princess Nourah University Waqf Fund, with the approval taking effect on 24 September 2026. The decision clears the way for the fund to be offered to the public.

The Authority noted that its approval permits the public offering only and does not amount to an investment recommendation. It confirms that the fund complies with the applicable requirements under the Capital Market Law and its implementing regulations, and does not reflect any view on the merits of investing in the fund.

What has not yet been disclosed

The available announcement did not state the unit price, minimum subscription amount, total fund size, or the subscription dates. Details on management fees, subscription fees, redemption fees, VAT, and any other charges were also not included. No specific approval-validity period, subscription procedure, eligibility criteria, or distribution schedule was announced.

Investors should note that subscribing to this fund does not involve any government platform such as Absher, Muqeem, Qiwa, Najiz, Nafath, Tawakkalna, or Etimad. Subscription instructions and the exact prices and fees in Saudi Riyal must be taken from the fund's approved terms and conditions and prospectus, and from SNB Capital's official investment channels once they are published.

For the community in Riyadh, Jeddah, and beyond, the fund represents a new regulated waqf-linked investment option. Anyone considering participation is advised to review the official documents carefully before making any decision.
