A new media and digital art exhibition, CONTINUUM ’26, has been confirmed for Diriyah in the Riyadh region, running from 3 September to 7 November 2026. Organized by Diriyah Art Futures, the exhibition is open to the public and forms part of a growing new media arts scene in the Kingdom.
Diriyah Art Futures operates as a dedicated hub for new media arts under the Museums Commission of the Ministry of Culture. CONTINUUM ’26 is the second instalment in an annual series that spotlights emerging voices in digital and new media art, following earlier Continuum exhibitions at the same venue.
The exhibition presents works developed through the second edition of the Emerging New Media Artists Programme, a year-long educational and production programme run by Diriyah Art Futures. It brings together 16 emerging artists from several countries, including Saudi artists such as Fai Ahmed and Njood Albawardi.
Visitors can expect works organized around themes including memory as a living process, systems of power and optimisation, the body, perception and presence, and repetition, rhythm and collective experience. An accompanying public programme of talks, workshops and masterclasses will run alongside the exhibition.
Why it matters
The show adds to the cultural offering of the wider Diriyah district, developed around the At-Turaif UNESCO World Heritage Site and contemporary art venues such as JAX District. For residents and visitors in Riyadh, it offers another accessible cultural destination close to the capital.
Diriyah venues generally use advance online booking and time-slot systems, and some days offer free or discounted gallery entry. As of the latest available information, no specific ticket price or booking process has been published for CONTINUUM ’26. Saudi Living will share confirmed details once they are officially announced.
