The General Entertainment Authority has been recognized among Saudi Arabia's top 70 brands for social responsibility and sustainability in 2026, in acknowledgment of community and sustainability initiatives carried out over the past five years.

The recognition highlighted a range of programs designed to widen access to entertainment and support different segments of society. These included employment opportunities and dedicated talent spaces for people with disabilities at entertainment seasons and events, as well as free admission for senior citizens to selected events through a partnership with توكلنا.

The authority also delivered programs for children of fallen service members, orphans, and beneficiaries of social-care homes. Its "Laylat Al-Omar" mass-wedding initiative benefited 1,600 brides and grooms nationwide across 2025 and 2026. The 2026 الرياض Season mass wedding supported 500 grooms, each receiving SAR 10,000 along with additional gifts and a cruise trip.

On the sustainability side, surplus food from restaurants taking part in events was collected in cooperation with the Saudi Food Bank Et'am, while nonprofit organizations specializing in entertainment were supported in joining community initiatives.

Why it matters

For residents and visitors across الرياض, جدة, and other cities, the recognition reflects how entertainment events increasingly include programs aimed at families, people with disabilities, and vulnerable groups. It points to a broader effort to make the Kingdom's growing entertainment scene more inclusive and socially engaged.
