Golf Saudi to Operate The National Golf Club in Qiddiya

Golf Saudi has been appointed operator of The National Golf Club under a five-year management agreement, taking responsibility for golf operations, events, course management, and player development at the new facility in Qiddiya City, roughly 45 kilometres from Riyadh.

The 18-hole course, designed by Sir Nick Faldo, opened on 30 October 2026. One of its key features is that membership is not required: the venue is open to professionals, amateurs, beginners, families, and visitors alike, making it accessible to a wide community of players in and around the capital.

What's open now and what's next

The initial facility includes a dedicated clubhouse, with lockers, showers, and club amenities included for visitors. Looking ahead, a larger clubhouse, a driving range, and an academy are planned for 2028, signalling the venue's growth into a full golf destination.

Visitors are currently grouped into published categories: Standard Guest, KSA Resident, Junior under 18, Saudi Golf Federation or KSA Golf Member, and Qiddiya Staff. KSA residents must present a valid Saudi national ID or Iqama to receive the resident rate, otherwise the standard guest balance applies. Juniors must show valid identification confirming their age, and members of the Saudi Golf Federation or a Saudi golf club must present an active membership card.

Bookings, coaching, operating hours, and visitor arrangements are handled through The National Golf Club's official booking channel. Exact green fees and operating hours have not been published in the available details, so players are advised to confirm through the official channel before visiting. For the Riyadh community, the new club adds a welcoming, no-membership option to the region's growing roster of sports and leisure venues.
