Hayy Jameel Marks International Cat Day in Jeddah

Hayy Jameel, the public arts venue in Al Muhammadiyah District, Jeddah, is marking International Cat Day with a weekend cinema program that combines film, live music and an animal welfare initiative. The event runs on August 7, 2026 at 6:00 PM and August 9, 2026 at 7:00 PM.

Hosted by Hayy Cinema, the program features a selection of cat-inspired film screenings alongside an interactive activation and live music performances. It has been promoted as a community program that blends entertainment with a charitable purpose.

Profits from the event will go to the Get Along With Me Animal Welfare Association, giving attendees a chance to enjoy a themed cultural evening while contributing to animal welfare in the community.

The event listing does not state an admission fee, so a ticket price is not confirmed. For entry to Hayy Jameel itself, no tickets are required, and the venue is open daily from 10:00 AM to 12:00 AM. Visitors seeking details can reach Hayy Jameel on +966 (0)12 228 3430.

Events like this reflect the growing calendar of family-friendly and community-focused cultural activities in Jeddah, offering residents and expats an accessible way to spend a summer evening while supporting a local cause.
