Riyadh Launches Jeddah Road Project With Four Bridges

Riyadh has launched the Jeddah Road Development Project, adding four new bridges along Jeddah Road as part of ongoing efforts to upgrade the capital's road network. Motorists seeking further information about the project can reach the unified number 19998.

The four bridges form part of a wider program to improve traffic flow and infrastructure across the city, managed as part of Riyadh's road network development work. The project aims to ease movement for the thousands of drivers who use Jeddah Road daily.

Part of a Larger Road Program

The initiative falls within a broader push to modernize Riyadh's roads. The fourth phase of the wider program covers four major infrastructure projects with a combined value of SAR 9.8 billion, extending roughly 40 kilometers. That phase includes 14 intersections, 33 bridges, six pedestrian bridges, and five tunnels.

For residents and commuters, the additions along Jeddah Road are expected to reduce congestion and shorten travel times on one of the city's key corridors. Drivers are encouraged to plan their routes and stay aware of any temporary changes during construction.

At this stage, no specific fees, permit steps, or timelines have been announced for the Jeddah Road project itself. Motorists needing clarification can call the unified number 19998.
