Saudi sports clubs and federations are broadening their role beyond competition, investing in youth development, health awareness and community programs across the Kingdom. The push combines grassroots football academies, school initiatives and structured training for children and adolescents.

The Sports for All Federation continues to drive nationwide participation through community sports groups, activities, challenges and multisport programs. During 2025, more than 650 sports groups were launched via the Sports for All app, drawing more than 22,000 participants, while more than 3,285 venues hosted community sports events and programs.

These initiatives aim to promote physical activity, mental well-being, social interaction and healthier lifestyles. In Riyadh, a dedicated program targets children and adolescents through school and community activities, while also supporting participation by young people aged 18 to 25.

Clubs partner on health and youth talent

Al Taawoun Club and the Saudi Red Crescent Authority's Qassim branch have established a cooperation covering health awareness, safety, first-aid education, physical activity, workshops and community events. The partnership includes certified first-aid training for club personnel and the use of club facilities for joint programs.

In the north-west, NEOM's Shuhub Community Youth Football Program develops young Saudi football talent in coordination with Saudi Arabian Football Federation coaches.

For residents and families, the expanding network means easier access to organized sport and wellness activities close to home — reinforcing a long-term shift toward active, healthier communities across the country.
