Development work is continuing across the major projects that make up نيوم, the large-scale development on Saudi Arabia's northwestern البحر الأحمر coast. Progress spans several of the initiative's flagship components as construction and planning advance.
Among the projects under development are The Line, a linear urban concept; Trojena, a mountain destination in the region's higher elevations; Oxagon, an industrial and port-focused hub; and Sindalah, an island destination on the Red Sea. Together, these form the core of نيوم's wider ambitions.
نيوم is one of the anchor projects tied to رؤية السعودية 2030, the national programme aimed at diversifying the economy and creating new sectors for tourism, industry and technology. The development is designed to introduce new residential, commercial and leisure environments in a part of the Kingdom that has historically been less populated.
For residents and expats across the Kingdom, continued progress on projects of this scale signals long-term opportunities in employment, tourism and business. As these destinations take shape, they are expected to expand the range of places to live, work and visit within Saudi Arabia over the coming years.
